Business Development Executive

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive for our Charleston, SC office. You will be selling to top tier Automotive, Legal and Medical organizations with a minimum of $5 million in annual revenues. Join an exciting and growing team with great growing potential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Expert hunter skills, generate and identify qualified sales leads in focused marquee clients, verticals, and target markets
  • Candidate must be comfortable with 50% cold calling and must be able to prove these skills through references or specific experiences
  • Responsible for annual quota of $1 million in new business revenue
  • Executive and C-level selling for businesses grossing at least $5 million in annual revenue
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Effective management of contacts, proposal pipeline, account issues and other duties as assigned
  • Excellent communication skills including face-to-face, written, presentation and phone

Job Qualifications:

  • Outside sales experience: 5+ years minimum
  • Agency experience: 3 years (recommended)
  • Minimum of 3 years in selling media sales, media services both traditional & digital strategies including social media
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in all of the above solutions
  • Candidates that cannot demonstrate selling these solutions through proven work experience will not be considered
  • Experience in selling solution and consulting based projects that are a minimum of $100,000 in revenue
  • The Ideal candidate with have Fortune 500 experience AND higher education
  • All of the above criteria must be proven and will be validated
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • You must have a valid driver's license and have your own reliable transportation

Business Development Director - Digital

We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated business development director to drive significant agency revenue growth. Our ideal match would be a new-business pro with a proven track record of prospecting, lead generation and qualification, responding to RFPs, developing presentations, and timely follow up. If this sounds like the opportunity you’re looking for, we want to hear from you. As business development director, you will identify, analyze, coordinate, pitch, and gain new clients from multiple verticals. Responsibilities will include all activities related to the strategy, management, coordination, and acquisition of new clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and create opportunities to pitch new clients
  • Actively manage agency’s business development efforts
  • Develop and maintain prospect database
  • Build relationships between agency and key prospects
  • Manage and maintain regular contact with companies on the prospect list
  • Develop responses to RFPs
  • Work collaboratively with agency teams on RFPs and pitch presentations
  • Organize, direct, and make arrangements for pitch presentations
  • Provide accurate forecasting of the sales pipeline
  • Prepare weekly new business activity reports for management
  • Manage availability of internal agency resources to support business development needs without impacting existing client deliverables
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts and service agreements
  • Represent and promote the agency in the business community

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years advertising agency experience
  • You must have a valid driver's license and have your own reliable transportation to attend client meetings and events

Media Buyer

We are looking for a media buyer, planner and strategist to handle multiple client campaigns in various markets. You will be responsible for creating and implementing media campaigns for our clients.

  • You must be familiar with and have the capability to navigate media buying software
  • You must have proficient knowledge in building campaigns, negotiating rates, reading and interpreting reports, providing campaign recommendations, strategy, invoicing and posting
  • You must have presentation skills and reliable transportation
  • Familiarity with data sources such as Nielsen and ComScore
  • Experience purchasing TV, Radio, Print and Outdoor advertising
  • Knowledge of or prior experience in automotive, legal, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred but not required
  • Ability to build and maintain solid business relationships with agency partners and vendors
  • Great negotiation skills are a must
  • Ideal candidate must stay informed on digital marketing trends and new technologies to remain in the position of leading with client partners
  • Must stay up-to-date on market trends local and industry–wide
